History and Legacy

The Golden Bridge was officially opened in June 2018 as part of Sun World Ba Na Hills, a hill resort complex built to boost tourism in Da Nang. Designed by TA Landscape Architecture, the bridge was intended to connect the Marseille Station to the Thien Thai Garden while offering visitors a picturesque walkway with panoramic mountain views. The most distinctive feature—the massive stone hands—was crafted to look ancient and weathered, symbolizing the hands of the gods lifting a golden ribbon from the earth.

Since its opening, the Golden Bridge has garnered global attention, appearing in international travel magazines and social media feeds. It has not only attracted millions of tourists but also inspired architectural projects worldwide. Beyond its striking visual appeal, the bridge serves as a gateway to other attractions in Ba Na Hills, blending Vietnam’s natural beauty with imaginative human design. Today, it stands as a proud example of Vietnam’s growing reputation for innovative tourism experiences.
